We specifically go there for volleyball tournaments and it does really well as a venue for this. I have seen as many as 60 courts set up, though the space does start to feel small at that point. However, even at 60 courts, there is still enough room for spectators to spectate without feeling like you are on top of the next court's occupants. It's one of the reasons I believe OKRVA hosts regionals there nearly every year. There are enough vendors to find something you like to eat and they have plenty of coffee! Plus parking is no charge!!
The vendor area was great, the stands are easy to get around in, horse stalls are nice. The bathrooms have heat in the winter. We enjoy having the warm up area.
First time there and it wasn't a disappointment. With that being said, I was there for the Cowboy Cup (which you'll just have to Google it) but we won some awards. I'm sure I'll be back there but not till next year. I live in OKC and Tulsa is a ways from me. So if you live in Tulsa or anyplace else and haven't been there then check it out when they something going on.
I had a really fun time visiting the Tulsa State Fair! 🎠✨ Walking through the shaded livestock barns was actually very relaxing, and there were some truly beautiful cows to see 🐄😍. A lot of people showed up, so it was definitely crowded, but that just added to the lively fair atmosphere 🎉. As expected, the food was pretty pricey — a candied apple for $6 and a small plate of nachos with cheese for $10 💸🍎🧀 — but that’s kind of part of the fair experience. Parking lots were already full by 11:45 on Saturday, but luckily I found street parking just one block away and saved myself $20 🚗💰. The exhibits were interesting, and the stunt dog show was a total highlight — so entertaining and fun to watch! 🐕🤩 Overall, it was a great day out and totally worth the visit! 👍✨
What a great experience for the whole family! Very nice boats and RV/campers to shop for.
