Really enjoyed it. Animals, rides, food you probably u probably should never eat. I checked cheese curds off my bucket list. Lots of interesting people to see. Family friendly.

This is the first year that we had the FrightReads Book Festival at this venue. Its a fantastic venue with lots of parking and easy access. I hope we do more events there.

Attended a great Alpaca Fest here. Loved the atmosphere & so many fabulous vendors. The Alpaca there were all so adorable!

The HoCo fair is always a nice place to go. If you live in the area, it's pretty much tradition at this point (at least for many of us locals). Three stops to make include Glenelg Fries, Pit Beef Sandwich, and Fried Oreos. They seem to have a new system with their rides because now you have to get a card and the tickets are on there. I overheard the machine say the tickets do not expire and that they even will roll over into the following year which is pretty good. Not quite sure how it worked last year and prior with expiration, but no more rolls of tickets. Anyway, you have to biluy a minimum of $10.00, which I believe gets you 20 tickets. Each night has a different deal, so check in on it.

Overall amazing! You can even win a fish for a as low as 10 dollars on one of the games. (For another 10 or 20 you get to pick a small tank or normal size fish bowl inside a stuffed animal)
