Took a advanced CCW class — worth every penny
Just finished a 1-day low-light shooting course with my range. Cost $258 plus ammo.
Way more valuable than YouTube.
Have you taken formal training? What was your best class?

Absolutely worth it. I've probably spent $3k+ on training over the years and it's the best money I've ever spent. Low light stuff is critical - most people never practice it. My best class was probably a 3-day course with Larry Vickers back in 2019. Expensive but learned more in those 3 days than months of solo practice.
Yes! Training is so important. I've done a few tactical courses and each one taught me something new. Even basic marksmanship classes helped me break some bad habits I'd developed. YouTube is fine for basics but nothing beats live instruction and feedback from a good instructor.
Low light training is so underrated! Most defensive situations happen in dim lighting. I took a similar course last year and it completely changed how I think about my EDC setup. Had to upgrade my weapon light after that class. What light were you using? The $258 sounds about right for quality instruction.
This is the content I come here for. Thanks OP.
Appreciate the honest review. Most people just hype everything up.
You should check out the Springfield Hellcat too. Similar price point and I think the trigger is better.
LOL I felt the same way. It gets better after a few weeks trust me.
