Vendor had a table full of ARs at Indy 1500
This one vendor had like 49 Glocks all gens across two tables. Prices from $499 to way more. Handled a few but didn't pull the trigger.
Do you prefer buying at shows or online?

Shows vs online... depends what you're after. I've been working shows for 15 years and there's something about handling before buying. Online's got better prices usually but you can't feel the trigger or check the lockup. That vendor with all the Glocks probably does decent volume - Glocks move fast at shows.
I hit every show in the DFW area and prefer shows for ammo deals. Online's good for specific stuff but I love the treasure hunt aspect of shows. Found some federal 9mm for $12/50 last month at a small show. You just gotta walk every table and compare.
$499 for a Glock isn't bad depending on the gen. I usually find the best ammo deals at smaller local shows vs the big ones. Big shows have selection but small ones sometimes have guys just trying to clear inventory cheap. Always bring cash for better negotiating power!
Was this the Indy 1500 last weekend? I was there too - first gun show ever! That Glock table was insane. I couldn't believe the variety... must have been every generation they ever made. Did you see the guy with all the vintage Colts? My wallet is still recovering lol
Interesting take. I went the other direction and picked up a Walther PDP instead. No regrets so far but ask me again in 6 months.
Not sure I agree but I respect the opinion. For me the Glock 43X has been rock solid for 12 months now.
Dude same. I spent way too long researching before I just pulled the trigger and bought one.
My two cents — don't overthink it. Just get what feels right in your hand and train with it.
