Took my dad to their first gun show
Brought my teen son to Wanenmacher Tulsa Arms Show last weekend. Their reaction was priceless — eyes lit up. Already asking when the next one is.
Best way to introduce someone to gun culture imo.

Wanenmacher is the granddaddy of them all. I set up there twice a year for the coin and bullion side - 20+ years now. Always love seeing kids get their first taste of the show. The history and craftsmanship on display there is unmatched. Your son will probably be talking about it for months. Great way to pass on the culture to the next generation.
Wanenmacher is legendary! Been there probably 8 times now from Dallas. That show is massive - takes a full weekend to see everything. Your son picked a good first show lol. The looks on kids' faces when they see those displays... priceless. Next Tulsa show is in November I think? Already planning my trip.
Just went to my first gun show a couple months ago and had the same reaction as your son! The variety and history was incredible. Couldn't believe how friendly everyone was too - felt like I was bothering people with questions but everyone was happy to talk. Already hooked and looking for the next one in my area.
