Took my dad to their first gun show
Brought my dad to SAR Gun Show last month. Their reaction was priceless — they were overwhelmed. Already asking when the next one is.
Best way to introduce someone to gun culture imo.

LOL I felt the same way. It gets better after a few weeks trust me.
You should check out the Ruger MAX-9 too. Similar price point and I think the trigger is better.
That's how it starts! Took my grandson to his first show and he couldn't believe all the lever guns in one place. There's something special about seeing someone's eyes light up when they handle a real Colt SAA for the first time. Gun shows are living history lessons.
SAR puts on a decent show! Your dad's hooked now haha. I've been to probably 50+ shows in the DFW area and that first-timer reaction never gets old. Next time take him early Saturday morning - that's when the good deals are still on the tables before everyone else scoops them up.
This is so sweet! I just went to my first show a couple months ago and I was totally that overwhelmed person walking around with my mouth open. Everything was so much cooler than I expected. Your dad's gonna be asking to go to every show now - fair warning!
