First time at Crossroads of the West — here's my take
Saturday was my first time at the Crossroads of the West and honestly it was solid. Venue was well organized. Spent about 4 hours.
Picked up magazines. Admission was $15. Save your money.

Crossroads shows are decent but I mainly hit them for bulk ammo deals and mags. $15 is getting pricey - I remember when shows were $5-8. Did you see any good deals on .308 or 5.56? Always stocking up for the homestead. The organization matters a lot - nothing worse than a cramped, poorly laid out show.
Which Crossroads location? Some are way better than others for ammo deals. $15 admission means you gotta find some good deals to make it worthwhile. I usually scope out the whole show first, then circle back to buy. Magazine prices have been all over the place lately - what did you end up paying?
Wow 4 hours... I was at my first show for like 6 hours and barely saw everything! The whole experience was overwhelming but in a good way. So much stuff I'd never seen before. What kind of magazines did you find? Still learning what's a good deal vs not.
Crossroads is usually pretty solid - been to their DFW shows many times. $15 admission is getting steep though, used to be $10 a couple years ago. What kind of mags did you pick up? Always looking for deals on PMags and Glock mags. The venue makes a big difference - some of their locations are way better than others.
Gonna have to respectfully disagree here. I've seen too many people have issues with that.
Agree 100%. Had the exact same experience with my setup.
