Ammo prices at Florida Gun & Knife Show — good
Went for ammo at the Florida Gun & Knife Show. 5.56 NATO was $0.32/rd. Should've bought more. Compared to online it was about the same.

Been hitting every DFW show lately and that's about right for decent brass case. Found some steel case Wolf for 24 cents last weekend at Big Town. But honestly... I'm buying everything I can find under 35 cents. This market is weird right now.
Up here in AK I'm paying 45+ cents for anything decent so you guys are making me jealous lol. Been loading my own 5.56 for years now - only way to feed my AR habit without going broke.
32 cents for 5.56 NATO at a show? That's solid pricing right now. I'm seeing wholesale around 28-29 so that vendor was barely marking up. Online you're paying shipping and tax most places so yeah about the same. Estate sales have been my sleeper source lately - old timers with cases they never shot.
I run a similar setup and it's been flawless. Good choice.

Been there done that. Lesson learned the hard way for me too.
This is exactly why I joined this forum. Good discussion.
