Powder measure throwing inconsistent charges
My RCBS Uniflow is throwing charges that vary by +/- 0.3gr for .45 ACP. Using Alliant powder which is a ball powder.
Is this normal?. What do you guys use for consistent charges?

Dude same. I spent way too long researching before I just pulled the trigger and bought one.
I'm using a basic Lee powder measure and getting similar results... thought it was just me being new at this. Maybe I need to tap the handle the same way each time? Still learning all the little tricks.
+/- 0.3gr is pretty wide for .45 ACP imo. I use a Hornady Auto Charge Pro in my reloading shed - powered off my solar setup of course. Thing throws within 0.1gr every time with ball powders. Might be worth the upgrade if you're doing volume.
For what it's worth, I've had good luck with the Lyman Gen6 powder dispenser. But honestly for .45 ACP, +/- 0.3gr isn't gonna hurt anything. That's still well within safe limits. I'd be more concerned if it was a precision rifle load.
