Vehicle BOB vs hiking BOB — do you have both
I keep a get-home bag in my truck. The vehicle bag has more comfort items because weight doesn't matter as much.
Do you differentiate between vehicle and foot BOB? Or one bag for everything?

Solid post. I've been thinking about the same thing lately. My Glock 43X has been my go-to but I'm always looking at other options.
Interesting take. I went the other direction and picked up a Beretta 92X instead. No regrets so far but ask me again in 6 months.
My two cents — don't overthink it. Just get what feels right in your hand and train with it.
Welcome to the addiction lol. Your wallet will never recover.
I don't really do the BOB thing but from a practical standpoint seems like you'd want both. Vehicle bag can have heavier items like extra water, tools, maybe a small camp stove. Walking bag needs to be stripped down to essentials only. Weight matters a lot when you're humping it on foot.
Yeah I keep a vehicle bag and a lighter hiking one. Vehicle bag has constitutional silver coins, extra food, sleeping bag etc. The hiking bag is bare minimum - some junk silver quarters, emergency food bars, water purification tablets. Can't be carrying 20 lbs of silver when SHTF and you gotta move fast lol
