BOB loadout — rate mine
Here's my 72-hour bag: - Water: Katadyn filter - Food: 3 days freeze dried - Shelter: Tent hammock - Fire: Fire kit in a tin - First aid: Basic kit + tourniquet
Total weight: 30 lbs. Am I missing anything?. What's in your BOB?

30 lbs is pretty good for 72 hours. I'd add a good fixed blade knife if you don't have one - way more versatile than most people realize. Also consider redundancy on fire starting... that tin is great but what if it gets wet? Ferro rod as backup takes no space. What kind of first aid training do you have?
Looks solid but I'd consider adding some basic tools - multi-tool at minimum, maybe a small hatchet depending on your area. Also think about personal hygiene items and any prescription meds. For comms I'd throw in a small radio... even a cheap FRS radio could be the difference between getting help or not.
