Budget scope for Savage 110 — under $359
Need a scope for my Daniel Defense DDM4 but not trying to spend more than the gun cost. Budget $459. Mainly shooting hunting distances.
Looking at Primary Arms SLx. What would you pick in this range?

PA SLx gets my vote too. Been recommending them to shooters at the range for a couple years now. For hunting distances you don't need to break the bank. That ACSS reticle really helps with holdovers. I've seen guys nail steel at 400+ with that setup. Just make sure you get proper rings and bases - don't cheap out there.
Wait, you said Savage 110 in the title but DDM4 in the body - which rifle we talking about? Either way, for $459 the Primary Arms SLx 4-14x44 FFP is solid. I run one on my hunting rifle when I'm not using thermals. Glass is clear enough for daylight work and tracks well. ACSS reticle is pretty intuitive too.
My wife would kill me if I bought another one but this is tempting lol
