Thinking about Form 1-ing my AR lower to make it an SBR. Want to put a real stock on it.
Anyone done a Form 1 recently? How long and any tips?

Been thinking about the same thing! Let me know how it goes... might finally pull the trigger on mine if the wait times aren't too crazy.
Just finished a Form 1 last month actually. Took about 5 months total. Pro tip - get your fingerprints done professionally at a local PD or UPS store, way cleaner than the DIY cards. Also double and triple check your serial numbers before submitting. One typo and you're starting over.
Form 1s are running 4-6 months right now. Make sure you have quality photos of the lower with the serial number clearly visible. I help customers with the paperwork pretty regularly - the ATF is picky about formatting. Once approved you can engrave the trust/individual info and install your stock. I'd recommend getting the engraving done professionally to avoid any issues down the road.
+1 on this. My buddy had the same issue and switching to JM Custom Kydex fixed it for him.
