A neighboring state just passed a red flag law. What triggers it?
This worries me

These laws are concerning. Usually it's family members, coworkers, sometimes even neighbors who can petition. The bar is pretty low - just has to convince a judge you're a "danger." No due process until after they take your guns.

Varies by state but common triggers include: domestic disputes, workplace complaints, social media posts, even anonymous tips in some places. The scary part is most have no penalty for false accusations. I've seen cases where ex-spouses use it as revenge. Document everything and know your state's laws.

Agree 100%. Had the exact same experience with my setup.

Interesting take. I went the other direction and picked up a Canik TP9 Elite instead. No regrets so far but ask me again in 6 months.
