Constitutional carry — is it safe
With more states passing constitutional carry, what about reciprocity?. I live in TX which just passed it.
Seems like a good thing but freedom is freedom

Thanks for sharing. Been lurking for a while and this finally made me want to comment.
Not sure I agree but I respect the opinion. For me the Springfield Hellcat has been rock solid for 8 months now.
+1 on this. My buddy had the same issue and switching to PHLster Enigma fixed it for him.
Reciprocity is the real challenge with constitutional carry. Some states recognize it, others don't. I'd recommend checking USCCA or similar resources before traveling. What's legal in Texas might land you in jail in New Jersey or California. The patchwork of laws is confusing as hell.
Constitutional carry is a win for freedom, period. Texas joining the club was long overdue. As for reciprocity, it's a mess right now but hopefully more states will recognize each other's rights. I carry everywhere it's legal in West Texas and beyond. The 2A doesn't say "shall not be infringed unless you cross state lines."
Constitutional carry is great in principle but I worry about people carrying without proper training. At least with CCW classes you knew folks had some basic knowledge. That said, freedom is freedom and I'd rather have too much liberty than too little. Just hope people take responsibility to train themselves.
