You guys and your magnums... I'll be out there with my 10/22 and CCI Velocitors putting meat in the freezer same as always. Headshots only but that's half the fun imo
Wait, you mean .30-06 right? .300 WM in a lever gun would be... interesting lol. I'm sticking with my trusty Beretta Silver Pigeon in 20ga for pheasant season. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done.
Running my .375 H&H for moose again this year - that Marlin sounds like overkill for whitetail but hey, dead is dead. What ammo did you switch to? I've been having good luck with 300gr Partitions up here.
I'm in the same boat. Let me know what you end up going with.
Appreciate the honest review. Most people just hype everything up.
You should check out the CZ P-01 too. Similar price point and I think the trigger is better.
