Turkey season — what shotgun/choke combo?
Getting ready for spring turkey. Running a Stoeger M3000 with a Jellyhead choke and TSS. Patterning at 40 yds looks deadly.
What's your turkey setup?

You should check out the Beretta 92X too. Similar price point and I think the trigger is better.
This is exactly why I joined this forum. Good discussion.
I'd love to see some photos if you get a chance to post them.

Nice setup! I use my Remington 870 with a full choke for turkeys when I'm not dealing with hogs. Keep it simple - 3.5" #4 shot gets the job done. Your TSS setup sounds way more advanced than what I need for the occasional tom that wanders onto the property.
Running a Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 with a Trulock choke and Federal TSS. Patterned it out to 50 yards and it's stupid tight. Good luck this season!
Man I need to get into turkey hunting... been wanting to try loading some TSS rounds but that stuff is expensive! How much are you paying per round for factory TSS? Thinking about working up some loads once I get more comfortable with my press.
I stick with my Beretta Silver Pigeon in 20 gauge - Modified/Full chokes with 3" #5 shot. Not as high-tech as your TSS setup but it's been dropping birds for 15 years. That Stoeger should serve you well though, solid gun for the money.
