Hog hunting — addicting
Got into hog hunting and holy crap it's fun. Running .300 BLK with just a light. We dropped 7 in one night.
What are you running for hogs?

Welcome to the addiction lol. Your wallet will never recover.
300 BLK is solid for hogs, good choice. I run a .308 when I actually make it out - which isn't often tbh. Hog hunting's one of those things that sounds great for SHTF practice but let's be real, most of us won't be hunting wild boar when the grid goes down lol. Still fun as hell though.
Nice work on those hogs! I don't hunt much anymore but back when I did more, used a .308 with thermal. These days I'm usually too busy with coin shows and precious metals deals to get out there... but man, 7 in one night is solid. Your .300 BLK setup sounds perfect for that kind of work.
.300 BLK is sweet for that kind of hunting. Up here I'm mostly dealing with moose and caribou so it's .300 Win Mag territory, but when I was down in Texas a few years back we used suppressed .300 BLK rigs and they were perfect. Light, quiet, effective. 7 hogs... man that's a good night! What kind of light setup you running?
Man I gotta get down south for some hog hunting! Up here in PA it's all whitetails on public land. Been running my trusty .30-06 for deer but thinking about picking up something in .300 BLK for versatility. 7 hogs in one night... that's the kind of action we just don't see up north.
