Glock trigger job — mistakes to avoid
The factory trigger on my G43X is driving me crazy. Thinking about polishing the internals.
Anyone done a Glock trigger job? What made the biggest difference?

The 25 cent trigger job (polishing contact surfaces) can help but honestly the biggest improvement comes from a good connector and trigger spring. On the G43X specifically, I'd recommend the Ghost Edge connector and a 4.5lb trigger spring. Polishing the cruciform and trigger bar contact points helps but go slow - you can't put metal back. If you're not comfortable with detail work, bring it to a smith.
Might be an unpopular opinion but I've never messed with my Glock triggers. They work, they're reliable... that's what matters in the field. If you need a super light trigger for competition that's one thing, but for carry/hunting? Learn to work with what Glock gave you imo.
Skip the DIY route and get an Apex trigger kit - night and day difference on my G19. The Ghost connector is good too but the Apex is worth the extra money. Don't mess with polishing unless you really know what you're doing... seen too many people turn their Glocks into paperweights.
LOL I felt the same way. It gets better after a few weeks trust me.
Great info here. Bookmarking this thread for later.
Anyone else run into this? I thought I was the only one.
Gonna have to respectfully disagree here. I've seen too many people have issues with that.
I'd love to see some photos if you get a chance to post them.
