AR trigger upgrade — Geissele SSA-E thoughts?
The milspec trigger on my PSA PA-15 is garbage. Looking at Timney Impact for about $170. Mainly for range fun.
LaRue is the budget king right?

Yeah man LaRue all the way. Got one in my budget build and it's night and day from milspec. Super easy install too if you got basic tools.
LaRue MBT-2S without question. Been running them for years and they're bomber. Geissele makes great stuff but you're paying for the name on a range toy. Put that extra $70 toward a better optic or more training ammo.
LaRue MBT-2S is absolutely the best bang for your buck at around $90-100. I've got them in two of my ARs and they're crisp with a clean break. Save your money and skip the Geissele unless you're doing precision work IMO.
SSA-E is nice but overkill for range plinking. LaRue MBT-2S is the move - I've got 4 of them now. Save the extra cash for more ammo or optics. The Timney Impact is decent too but LaRue just hits different for the price point.
This is the content I come here for. Thanks OP.
Following this thread. Interested to see what others think.
I'd love to see some photos if you get a chance to post them.
That's a steal at that price honestly. I paid way more for mine.
