What got you into firearms?
Curious how everyone here got started. For me it was my buddy taking me to the range when I was 11. Shot a Ruger Mini-14 and was hooked. Been 20 years and I still get excited every range trip.
What's your origin story?

Navy got me started back in '78. Qualified with the 1911 and fell in love with the platform. After I got out I started collecting the older Colts and Smiths... there's just something about the craftsmanship they put into guns back then. Been hooked ever since - probably got 40+ handguns now and still looking for that next piece.
Dad took me out when I was about 8 with his old Winchester Model 94. Taught me to shoot, respect the gun, and understand what the 2A really means. Been defending those rights ever since. Now I reload for about 15 different calibers and teach my neighbors the same lessons my dad taught me. It's about more than just shooting - it's about freedom and self-reliance.
