Gun show etiquette — any unwritten rules?
Going to my third gun show a couple weeks ago. Any rules I should know? Is it cool to bring my own gun to trade? Don't wanna be that guy.

Yeah definitely bring your trade gun if you want - just make sure it's unloaded and action open when you're walking around. Most shows have a check-in table where they'll zip tie it or put a tag on it. Don't be the guy handling someone else's gun without asking first. And if you're looking at something, actually be interested - don't waste vendors' time. Up here in Alaska the shows are smaller but same rules apply.
Good question. Bring cash - lots of vendors don't take cards or charge extra for it. Keep your hands to yourself unless they say it's ok to handle something. And yeah, bring your trade piece but get it checked at the door first. Been to probably 200+ shows over the years and the guys who follow basic courtesy do just fine. Have fun!
Thanks for sharing. Been lurking for a while and this finally made me want to comment.
I'd love to see some photos if you get a chance to post them.
Good looking out for sharing this deal. Just ordered one.
