Gun show etiquette — any unwritten rules?
Going to my first gun show last weekend. Any rules I should know? Is it cool to dry fire at a table? Don't wanna be that guy.

Sarah's spot on about the dry firing. Few other things - bring cash if you can, some dealers give discounts for it. Don't be afraid to walk away if something doesn't feel right, there's always another table. And honestly? The jerky and knife vendors usually have the best deals lol. Have fun, gun shows are a great way to see stuff you'd never find at your LGS.
All good advice here. I'd add - don't lowball dealers too hard, especially early in the day. They're more willing to negotiate towards closing time. And watch out for the guy with a folding table selling "totally legal" auto parts... if it seems sketchy, it probably is.
Yeah definitely ask before dry firing. I've seen guys get kicked out for that. Also don't bring your own ammo to compare - some shows don't allow it. Pack light, those concrete floors will kill your feet after a few hours. And if you see something you really want, don't wait - good deals go fast.
First off - never dry fire at someone's table without asking! Most dealers are cool with it but always ask first. Some have snap caps available. Also don't handle guns while the dealer is with another customer, and if you pick something up, wait for them to come back to you. Basic courtesy goes a long way.
Gonna have to respectfully disagree here. I've seen too many people have issues with that.
You should check out the Sig P365 too. Similar price point and I think the trigger is better.
