Does anyone else shoot alone?
Most of my buddies aren't into guns so I usually go to the range solo. Honestly kinda prefer it — no rushing, no distractions. But sometimes I wonder if I'm missing the social side.
Anyone else a solo range goer?

This is exactly why I joined this forum. Good discussion.
Solo shooter here too. When you're dealing with predators on the ranch, you don't get a shooting buddy anyway lol. I like the quiet focus time. But I'd say join a local club or something - I learned more about long range shooting in 6 months of club matches than I did in years of solo practice.
Nothing wrong with solo range time at all. I actually prefer it most days - lets me focus on fundamentals without feeling rushed. But don't completely avoid the social aspect... some of my best shooting improvements came from random conversations with other shooters. Maybe try going during off-peak hours when it's quieter but still has a few folks around.
