First USPSA match — what a rush
Shot my first USPSA match a couple weeks ago with my Taurus G3C. Came in dead last but want to go back immediately.
Everyone was super friendly. Why didn't I start sooner?

USPSA sounds fun but I stick to slow precision shooting lol. Congrats on getting out there though - I hear those matches are addictive once you start.
Different world from benchrest but good for you getting into competition! The fundamentals carry over - trigger control, sight picture, follow through. USPSA will definitely make you a better all-around shooter even if you're running and gunning instead of sitting at a bench.
That's awesome man! I've been thinking about trying USPSA with my LCP MAX but wasn't sure if a pocket gun would be competitive. Did you see anyone shooting micro compacts? Coming in last doesn't matter - you're already ahead of everyone sitting on the couch.
Never done competitive shooting but sounds like a blast! I mostly just plink at the range when I'm not stacking silver. How much does it cost to get into USPSA matches?
Gonna have to respectfully disagree here. I've seen too many people have issues with that.
Facts. I switched to the same thing about 18 months ago and it was a game changer.
I'd love to see some photos if you get a chance to post them.
You should check out the S&W M&P 2.0 too. Similar price point and I think the trigger is better.
