3-Gun setup — what are you running?
Getting into 3-Gun this year. My current setup: - Pistol: S&W M&P 2.0 - Rifle: Ruger 10/22 with Leupold VX-3HD - Shotgun: Maverick 88
Am I missing anything?. Budget for upgrades is $436.

I had the opposite experience honestly. But everyone's different I guess.
Interesting take. I went the other direction and picked up a S&W M&P 2.0 instead. No regrets so far but ask me again in 6 months.
I'm in the same boat. Let me know what you end up going with.
Gonna have to respectfully disagree here. I've seen too many people have issues with that.
Solid post. I've been thinking about the same thing lately. My Beretta 92X has been my go-to but I'm always looking at other options.
For 3-gun you're going to want speed over precision so that setup should work fine to get started. I'd spend some of that budget on ammo and practice rather than gear honestly. Maybe look into a good sling for the rifle and extra magazines. The Ruger is accurate enough for 3-gun distances - I've seen guys clean stages with bone stock 10/22s.
Nice starter setup! That Maverick 88 is solid for the price. With your budget I'd probably upgrade the trigger on that M&P first - makes a huge difference. Apex makes a good drop-in kit for like $120. The 10/22 is great but you might want to consider a semi-auto shotgun down the road when budget allows.
