My grandfather's shotgun
Grandfather carried this his whole life and it was passed to me when he passed. It's a Ruger MAX-9 and I've never cleaned it better.
Not the prettiest in the safe but the most meaningful. Never selling it.
Anyone else have heirloom guns?

Hold on there - Ruger MAX-9 is a fairly new striker-fired pistol, not really a shotgun. Are you sure about the model? Maybe it's a different Ruger? Either way, heirloom guns are special. I've got my dad's 1943 S&W Victory Model that he carried in the Pacific. Never leaving the family.
Something's off here... MAX-9 is a modern Ruger pistol, not a shotgun. Maybe you meant a different model? But yeah, inherited firearms are the best kind. Got my grandfather's 1943 Springfield from Guadalcanal. These old guns have stories that new ones never will.
Good looking out for sharing this deal. Just ordered one.
