Inherited a collection — need help IDing some pieces
My uncle passed and left me 6 firearms. Some I recognize but there are a few I can't figure out. One looks like a pre-war revolver with no visible markings.
Any tips on how to get these identified and appraised?

Welcome to the addiction lol. Your wallet will never recover.
Not sure I agree but I respect the opinion. For me the Walther PDP has been rock solid for 5 months now.

I run a similar setup and it's been flawless. Good choice.
Sorry for your loss man. For appraisals I'd hit up a few different sources - local gun shops, maybe an auction house if there's anything really old or rare. Take lots of detailed photos first before you do anything else. That pre-war revolver could be worth decent money depending on what it is. Check for proof marks, serial numbers, anything stamped under the barrel or on the frame.
Post some pics if you can! Pre-war revolvers can be tricky to ID without markings but there are usually subtle clues. Check the cylinder release, grip frame shape, barrel length. Could be anything from a cheap Saturday night special to a rare S&W or Colt. For the other guns, serial number lookups can tell you a lot about manufacture dates and variants. Blue Book of Gun Values is worth the investment too.
