Counterfeit coins — how to spot them
Saw some obvious fakes at a flea market. The it didn't ping right.
Always check the weight. What fakes have you encountered?

How long have you had yours? Any reliability issues?
Good looking out for sharing this deal. Just ordered one.
You should check out the Sig P365 too. Similar price point and I think the trigger is better.
I'm in the same boat. Let me know what you end up going with.
Don't know much about coins but learned to check silver from my coin collecting buddies. Magnets and ice cubes work good for quick field tests. If it's magnetic or doesn't conduct cold fast, it's fake.
Yeah flea markets are notorious for fakes. The ping test is good but weight is king - real silver has that distinctive feel. I carry a small scale and magnet to shows. Seen too many people get burned on obviously fake Morgans and Peace dollars.
Flea markets are hit or miss... mostly miss tbh. Chinese fakes are getting scary good though. Always test everything - weight, dimensions, ping test, magnet. I only buy from established dealers now after getting burned once on some fake ASEs.
