First time carrying in public
Got my permit two weeks ago and carried first time Saturday. Taurus G3C in a PHLster Enigma. Was SO paranoid but wife couldn't tell.
Gets easier right?

Totally normal to feel paranoid at first. I carry a Shield Plus in an Alien Gear belly band when I'm in town for supplies. After a few weeks you'll forget you're even wearing it. Just keep practicing your draw at home (unloaded obviously) and you'll build confidence.
Oh yeah, it definitely gets easier! I remember my first time carrying with my belly band - kept checking every 5 minutes to make sure my shirt was covering properly lol. Now it's just part of getting dressed. Your wife not noticing is a great sign that you're doing it right. The PHLster Enigma is solid choice too, heard good things about that system.
Gets much easier. Been carrying for 15+ years and it becomes second nature. That Taurus should serve you well - reliable little gun. Just make sure you practice with it regularly. I carry a 1911 most days but that's probably overkill for most folks.
Interesting take. I went the other direction and picked up a Sig P365 instead. No regrets so far but ask me again in 6 months.
Agree 100%. Had the exact same experience with my setup.
My two cents — don't overthink it. Just get what feels right in your hand and train with it.
That's a steal at that price honestly. I paid way more for mine.
