Appendix vs 4 o'clock — settle this
Carrying at 4 o'clock for 6 months but everyone says appendix is better. Tried it and wife said it looks weird. I'm 5'10 200.
What position and why?

Both have their place honestly. I teach AIWB to most of my students because the draw stroke is more natural and harder for someone to grab from behind. But 4 o'clock works fine if you practice with it. The "looking weird" thing is just unfamiliarity - proper holster setup and you shouldn't print much. Try a Tier 1 Concealed or JM Custom holster if you want to give appendix another shot.
AIWB all day. Yeah it looks different at first but you get used to it. The draw is just so much faster and more consistent. At your size it shouldn't be too bad - I'm 6'1 210 and carry a G19 appendix daily. Get a good holster with a claw and wedge, makes all the difference. Wife will get used to it too.
I actually do both depending on what I'm wearing! Appendix with my Hellcat when I'm in jeans, but if I'm in a dress or yoga pants it's belly band time. The 4 o'clock thing never worked for me - too hard to access if I'm sitting or have kids hanging on me.
I run a similar setup and it's been flawless. Good choice.
Anyone else run into this? I thought I was the only one.
Welcome to the addiction lol. Your wallet will never recover.
+1 on this. My buddy had the same issue and switching to Alien Gear Cloak Tuck fixed it for him.
